Development

Global Circle of Knowledge software is being developed as an enhancement of the OpenOffice.org suite.

We are currently in need of Java programmers, C++ programmers, OpenOffice developers, as well as designers and artists.

Newcomers

All of our developers need to aquire the following parts in order to be able to code and test the program.
We strongly recommend that you meet all System Requirements and that your Operating System is up-to-date. If you don't have a CVS tool, you can choose one from this list, we recommend using the easy-to-use TortoiseCVS on MS Windows platforms.

Batik 1.5 Download Instructions and Notes
.NET Framework 1.1 (only for MS Windows) Download Instructions and Notes

After you have finished installing the components and followed all the instructions above there is only one final step to take: getting the source code. We maintain our source code with the Concurrent Versioning System (CVS), as most other Open Source projects do. Click here, to see how you can get connected.
